1) LOVELY COMPLEX
Since the Lovely Complex is one of the cutest romantic comedies out there, it’s at the top of my list of the best rom-com. There isn’t a similar cartoon out there. The story is about Atsushi Otani and Risa Koizumi. They are best friends at first and are often teased. All of their friends make fun of them because they are so different in height that they look funny next to each other. Even though they don’t get along, they agree to help each other get their crushes.

2) ITAZURA NA KISS
You can say that Itazura Na Kiss is one of the better love comedies, which also makes it one of the best rom-coms. There is a lot of stumbling around in this story about Kotoko Aihara and her crush Naoki Irie. Kotoko doesn’t feel the same way about them. She has to stay with Naoki’s family after her house is destroyed by an earthquake. It looks like this is her chance to win his heart. This is a cute love story that shows how cute Kotoko’s efforts at love are.

3) My Love Story !!
My Love Story!! came out in 2015 and has a full season with 24 episodes. It’s for Takeo was, a big, scary-looking high school student who is actually very nice though his features scare everyone away. He also has a friend named Makoto who is very good-looking and makes all the girls around them fall in love with him. Takeo saves Rinko from a groper on the train when they first meet. Rinko is a small, innocent buddy. She seems scared of him, just like all the other girls he meets. He thinks she’s only hanging out with him to get close to Makoto.
But this mistake is quickly cleared up, and they start dating pretty early on in the show. The rest of the episodes are about how the two cute characters deal with being together. This cartoon is without a doubt the healthiest on this list.

The main character of this cartoon is Raku Ichijou, who is described as a normal student. Raku has changed schools, but he made a promise to his best friend from youth a long time ago. They said they would get married when they got back together. This anime’s funny side comes out in full force thanks to its unique characters. The locket that is very important to Raku gets lost, and he asks Chitoge, the girl he was with when he lost it, to help him find it. They end up fighting, and they don’t know it, but their families are in different gangs. To end their fight, the families plan to get married to each other. Chitoge and Raku are set to marry each other. This competition makes things tricky and amusing at the same time. But even a hitman is taking part.

Special A is one of the best rom-com anime because of its cute competition between two characters. It’s mostly about Kei Takishima and Hikari Hanazono. Hikari only wants to beat Kei in every way. Because of this, she stays at the same schools as him in the hopes of beating him in sports and grades.

8) HONEY AND CLOVER
This cartoon love comedy will make you cry, but it’s also funny and makes you feel better at times. There is a lot of character growth. Honey and Clover is about three poor college students named Takemoto Yuuta, Mayama Takumi, and Morita Shinobu who live together in one house. A very smart girl named Hanamoto Hagumi shows up, and romance starts to grow.
9) Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It
I tried to show that science fell in love. It came out in 2020 and has two seasons so far. The show’s idea is very different; it’s about two experts named Ayame and Shinya. When Ayame tells her overly rational coworker Shinya that she loves him, he asks what “love” really means. Since neither of them has ever been in a relationship before, they turn to something they both know a lot about: science. In order to be sure that they are in love, they come up with scientific tests. This show is not only cute, but also very smart and funny.

10) Wotakoi: Love Is Hard For Otaku
In anime, teen loves get most of the attention, but there are a few exceptions. The office comedy Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku is mostly about two couples: Hirotaka Nifuji and Narumi Momose, who are just starting out together, and Tarou Kabakura and Hanako Koyanagi, who have been together for a while. The first pair is the main focus of the show for the most part. The passion is shown in a very realistic way, even though the show is mostly funny.
Even though they are childhood friends, Narumi never thought of Hirotaka as a possible love partner, and she stays that way for the whole show. But because the anime is so short, it only touches on these relationships briefly. Despite this, Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku is a fun ride while it lasts.
